YaddaMean Z
This Ain’t Just a Brand.
It’s a Legacy.
YaddaMeanZ is a youth-led movement rooted in skate culture, art, and activism — honoring Zion Williams-Gaines, a skater who never stopped pushing, even after losing his sight. We carry his light forward.

Why We Do This
Zion Never Stopped
“Zion skated in the dark. Now, we carry his light.”
Charmaine Williams, Founder
YaddaMeanZ was founded in honor of Zion Williams-Gaines — a skater, artist, and visionary who kept pushing long after losing his sight. Zion believed skateboarding was more than a sport. It was freedom, expression, and community.
After being shot and waking up blind from surgery, Zion’s first words to his mother were: “I’m happy to be alive. God and the angels saved me. I forgive.” He kept skating. He kept giving — his boards, his time, his light — to every person he met.
After his passing, Charmaine Williams committed to carrying his vision forward: building spaces where youth feel seen, supported, and empowered. YaddaMeanZ Skate Jams are how we keep that promise alive.
